Sunshine Act
The authors of the Physician Payments Sunshine Act are urging the CMS to issue its final implementation rule by June, so that data collection and reporting on financial transactions between healthcare providers and the drug, device and group-purchasing industries can begin.

First off. I’m sure this guy is a smart guy, a nice guy, and he means well.
BUT …
He and others like him have been part of the problem and not the solution. It is simply not that hard! EMR is not much more than a contact manager.
Arcane language, syntax, modeling, vocabularies, and dozens of so-called standards bodies have been expensive and largely un-necessary.
